Developed Rewari

Rewari is a town that always needed special attention. Rich in history, Rewari is close to the heart of India, Delhi. Haryana government has taken it as a challenge to provide the town with all it needs to make it as one of the most developed towns not only in Haryana but in India too.

Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) failed to do the same in their governance which lasted for six years.  There was not a single university, government engineering college, government polytechnic or a Sainik school that was opened in the BJP rule. There was one agriculture university that existed which too was closed during the BJP regime. They failed miserably and were unable to initiate any development projects that could have benefited Rewari.

Accepting the challenge, the new Haryana government under the wise leadership of Shri Bhupender Singh Hooda started slowly but steadily. Today, after 8 years, Rewari has a university, two government engineering colleges and two polytechnics. The Hooda led Congress government also managed to reopen the closed agriculture university.

Most recently, the honourable Chief Minister lay the founding stone of Rao Birender Singh Government Engineering College at Zainabad, Rewari. The Building will be constructed at a cost of Rs 34 Cr and the classes will be started in 2014 itself.

No one from Rewari will have to go anywhere else for higher education. This was the vision that we foresaw when we began the project so as to provide the people of Rewari with the best educational institution. We hope that we are headed towards the right direction and the day is not far when we list Rewari as one of the best towns in the country.
